Quality Care of Howell is a family operated, assisted living facility licensed as an Adult Foster Care. It was founded by a team of individuals with the tools and background necessary to provide housing, health care and supportive services for individuals who need assistance in their everyday lives. Our staff at Quality Care of Howell has warmth and respect for our residents. Being a family owned business, we treat our residents like they are our own family. Quality Care of Howell is always staffed 24 hours a day, so that each resident receives exceptional care and assistance. Our staff is well-trained in first aid, CPR, caregiving and all types of emergencies.

Before a resident moves in, we meet with each resident and family to assess their own preferences and needs establishing whether there is a need for support or additional assistance with their lifestyle. Wellness and health assessments are conducted on a regular basis as needed.

Since joining Quality Care of Howell in November 2025, Susan "Sue" Smith has become a valued member of the team, known for the compassion, warmth, and genuine care she brings to each resident. She has found great meaning in building strong connections with residents and their families. Sue also feels a deep appreciation for the encouragement she receives from her management team, whose guidance and teamwork help create an environment where staff members feel valued and empowered to provide the best possible care.
Outside of work, Sue enjoys spending time with her family and making memories together. She and her husband live in Webberville, Michigan, where they are raising their two children, Sophia and Brenman. As a family, they love taking road trips, going yard sailing, window shopping in stores, and enjoying their favorite summer activity—camping. Sue is also actively involved in her children's school band boosters, adores her two cats, and enjoys the small-town atmosphere of Webberville. Whether she is caring for residents or spending time with her family and commu-nity, Sue brings kindness, dedication, and heart to everything she does, making her a wonderful part of the Quality Care of Howell family.
