Today, we gathered as a community to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation. Memorial Day serves as a solemn reminder of the courage, sacrifice, and dedication of those who gave their lives to protect the freedoms we cherish.

We extend our sincere appreciation to our Governing Body, the Howell Township Police Department, Howell Township Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9691 and Auxiliary, and Farmingdale American Legion Post 178 for their participation and commitment in making today’s Memorial Day Services a meaningful tribute to our fallen heroes.

We would also like to thank our residents and community members who joined us in remembrance. Your presence reflects the strength of our community and our shared commitment to honoring the sacrifices of those who gave everything for our country.

On this Memorial Day, we remember, we honor, and we remain forever grateful. 🇺🇸

Zone F curbside recycling scheduled for Monday, May 25, 2026, will be picked up on Saturday, May 30, 2026, in observance of Memorial Day. Please have your recycling cans to the curb on Friday night.

Spring brush pickup began on Monday, March 30, 2026, and DPW brush pickup crews have completed the first pass through all zones and are currently working on the second pass. Crews have completed the second pass through Zones A, B, C, D, and E and are currently picking up in Zone F. We will then continue the process through Zones G, H, I, and J.

Please adhere to the following guidelines.
Only brush/tree trimmings will be collected. NO LEAVES. (mixed piles will not be collected)
Please place brush at the edge of the curb in the following manner
Stacked against curb with all butt ends facing the same direction
Maximum size: 6” in diameter and 8’ in length. NO STUMPS
Maximum volume: Equal to 1 pickup truck load

Additional brush can be dropped off at the Recycling Center located at 278 Old Tavern Road, Howell
