Oceola Recreational Complex is ready for a summer full of fun, fresh air, and adventure! 🌳⚽📚

Looking for ways to keep the kids active, entertained, and off their screens this summer? We’ve got something for everyone to enjoy:

🛝 Playground areas designed for both younger and older kids
⚽ Open soccer fields perfect for pickup games and running around
🚶 A scenic walking path with approximately a 1-mile loop
📖 An interactive Story Walk along the path for kids and families to enjoy together
🍔 A pavilion with picnic tables and charcoal grills — perfect for summer lunches and picnics
📚 A free Little Library located at the gazebo — take a book, leave a book, and help share the joy of reading with others of all ages
🚻 NEW permanent outdoor restrooms, open year-round from dawn to dusk
🅿️ Expanded parking areas to better accommodate visitors

🚧 Road Construction Notice – Golf Club & Eager 🚧

Please be advised that construction of the new roundabout at the intersection of Golf Club Road and Eager Road is scheduled to begin shortly after the 4th of July weekend. You may already notice construction crews and equipment in the area as preparations are underway.

We kindly ask all residents and motorists to use extra caution when traveling through this area. Please slow down, stay alert, and be mindful of workers, equipment, and any temporary traffic changes or delays.

We appreciate everyone’s patience and cooperation as these improvements are completed to help enhance traffic flow and safety within the Township.

They are available 7 days a week from dawn to dusk for your convenience. Whether you're out enjoying the playground, walking path, or here for sports seasons, we've got you covered! 😊🌿

Livingston County residents can safely dispose of household hazardous waste, recycle electronics, and more at upcoming events throughout 2026!

🗓️ Household Hazardous Waste Collection (Appointment Required):
• May 2
• July 18
• September 19

🎨 Latex Paint Recycling (One-Day Event):
• June 17 | 4–8 PM (fees apply)

💻 E-Waste Collection:
• August 22 | 9 AM–1 PM (registration required)

🚗 Scrap Tire Recycling:
• Date TBD (pre-registration required)

⚠️ Open to Livingston County residents only – no businesses. Space is limited, so be sure to register early!
