Here's to a fun and safe year of sports for all our local teams!

🏈Howell Area Jr. Football League & .cheer.pom kicked off their season this past weekend! 📣
Before the season even started, many coaches, team moms, players, and cheerleaders were already putting in some work.
🚑LCEMS assisted in providing the CPR and First Aid training. Taking the time to learn these skills shows true leadership and dedication to keeping everyone safe on and off the field. We were thrilled to help them step up and prepare to look out for one another.

If you have contact with a bat, make sure to get medical attention and report it to our health department!

🦇 Rabid Bat Identified in Livingston County

A bat found in Livingston County has tested positive for rabies. This is the first rabies case in an animal reported in the county this year. The Livingston County Health Department (LCHD) wants everyone to remember: If you have contact with a bat, check it out before you let it out!
