Have you snapped a photo next to one of the flower pots around town this summer? We’d love to see it!

Whether it’s a family picture, a selfie, your kids, friends, or even your furry companion, send us your photos featuring the community flower pots. Throughout the summer, we’ll collect photos and then create a special post showcasing the evolution of our beautiful pots and the people who make Howells such a great place to call home.

We're still carrying the spirit of Alumni Weekend as community members, alumni, and friends gathered for another great Howells tradition at the Howells Community Fund Alumni Golf Tournament

Events like this are about more than a round of golf. They create opportunities to reconnect, build camaraderie, make memories, and invest in the future of our community!

Shoutout to the Howells Community Club for making Casey Wisnieski and I feel welcomed in the community by gifting us plants for our office. We appreciate everyone who has supported both the rehab and massage business at 221 Center St. in downtown Howells! 🪴

What started with a $250 gift from the Class of 1983 has grown into a meaningful tradition of giving back to the community that helped shape us. Today, each honored class is invited to participate by matching or exceeding that original gift while competing for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place!

This year, all funds raised will go toward a new swingset down by the pool, creating a place for the next generation to play, gather, and make memories for years to come.

More than just a friendly competition, this challenge is about coming together as classmates, giving back, and continuing to invest in the future of Howells.

Be sure to share with your class as the challenge runs through June 13th. Let’s see what we can accomplish together and continue growing something special in Howells! 🌱

The Howells Disc Golf Course is officially open!

One of the Howells Community Fund’s summer 2026 projects is now complete, and it’s ready for the community to enjoy. The new 9-hole disc golf course begins near the long jump pit north of the pool and winds through the park all the way to the horse arena.

Whether you’re a seasoned player or trying disc golf for the first time, the course offers a fun challenge for all skill levels, with holes ranging from a 96-foot par 2 to a 400+ foot par 6.

Be sure to stop by Hole #1 to view the course rules and scan the QR code for a course map. Just bring your own discs and get ready to play!

Thank you to everyone who helped make this project possible and for your continued support of the Howells Community Fund. We can’t wait to see the community enjoying this new addition to our park!
