I am actively trying to create a network neighbors helping neighbors, working to restore a sense of community. I believe that many times we all just need a helping hand up, not a hand out. Often times, many of us fall on hard times but do not qualify for or wish to accept public assistance. Likewise, many of our neighbors are trying to "break the chains" of public assistance but just need help to
"get over the hump". This is where The PIFCo comes in. I want to help families, especially our Veterans families, have basic necessities for child and home care. No family should ever worry about diapering, feeding, clothing or finding a safety seat their child(ren). I have began to stockpile child and baby care items such as cloth diapers (which are much easier than you'd think!) and nursing materials. I am a strong advocate for the tremendous health and economic benefits of breastfeeding, cloth diapers, growing a garden and working within the community to help one another. We can all succeed, sometimes we just need a helping hand to give the boost we need! I am not backed by any organization, this is run and funded 100% by myself and my husband. I wan to connect with the families who may need my help. help direct them to other people or services they could use and benefit from. I want to grow and learn together! Then, all I ask is after you are helped, to pay the goodness forward. When you're done with donated diapers, donate them to another family or back to me so i can find a family in need. After you got the job you needed a suit for, give to someone in line at the unemployment office. We MUST keep the kindness going, you NEVER know whose life you will change!
