Monday 8/24/2026- 8/26/2026 we will be putting the top coat of pavement starting with Geordie Ln. at 7:00AM this will continue with Laurel St, Dogwood North and then Dogwood South.

Driveway aprons will be fixed at a later date then we will back the edge of the pavement to finish the project.

All this is weather permitting.

Just an FYI, the construction you see being done on the sidewalks on Main Street and Gardner Road are due to faulty concrete mix. This is all being done through the Tip Grant at no cost to the town.

Tomorrow starting at 7 o’clock the binder coat of Asphalt will be going down on Geordie Lane and Dogwood North. Please don’t drive on the new pavement. Follow the traffic details that will be there in place if you don’t know if you’re supposed to drive on it look for an officer and ask.

Monday weather permitting we will continue with Laurel Street and Dogwood South .

Once that is complete, there will be a day when they raise catch basins and manhole covers before applying the final top coat of Asphalt. 

Once that is complete we will be completing Driveway aprons and backing the edge of the asphalt. This all takes time appreciate your patience through this process.

First part of the Paving project this year will start on Monday the 27th @ 7 AM on Dogwood Rd. North and Laurel St. during this time there could be delays. Please be careful of the workers and pay attention to what detail officers want you to do. Any questions can be answered by calling the Dpw Monday through Thursday 6 AM to 4 PM 978-928-1400 extension 400.

Ragged Hill Rd is closed at #99 for a tree across the road. Wires are down and a pole will need to be replaced. The road is closed at Cross Rd Residents of house #93 and down can access their residence from Gardner Rd. Houses #99 and up will need to use Birches Rd. We will be replacing a basin near #32 Williamsville Rd. Starting at 7 o’clock, expect delays and watch for the the traffic details instructions. The project will end at 4:00PM possibly go into Thursday. 7-4
