β˜€οΈ Summer Learning = Summer Success! πŸ“šπŸŒ΄

Summer is the perfect time to keep young minds active while still having fun!

Just 15–20 minutes a day of reading, writing, math practice, or educational activities can help students maintain the skills they worked so hard to build during the school year.

Here are a few easy ways to keep learning going this summer:
πŸ“– Read together every day
πŸ“ Keep a summer journal
βž• Practice math with cooking, shopping, or games
🎲 Play educational board games
πŸ”¬ Explore museums, parks, and local attractions
🌎 Turn everyday adventures into learning opportunities

Remember, learning doesn't have to happen at a desk! Some of the best lessons come from exploring, creating, and spending time together as a family.

What are your favorite ways to keep learning fun during the summer? Share your ideas below! πŸ‘‡

πŸŽ“βœ¨ We would like to once again congratulate all of our amazing homeschool graduates who participated in this year's Homeschool Graduation Ceremony!

What started as a simple idea turned into a wonderful celebration of our students' hard work, dedication, and achievements. We were honored to celebrate 21 graduates alongside their families and friends.

The overwhelming support and positive feedback have us excited for the future!
πŸ‘€ We are already looking at ways to expand the event next year and make it even more special for our homeschool community. One of our goals is to add dedicated promotion and graduation ceremonies for both 8th-grade and 12th-grade homeschool students so we can recognize these important milestones as well.

Stay tuned as we begin planning for next yearβ€”we have some exciting ideas in the works! Thank you to everyone who helped make this year's event such a success, and congratulations again to all of our graduates. We are so proud of you! πŸŽ‰πŸŽ“πŸ’œ

πŸŽ‰πŸ‘ Congratulations to County Schools' Career and Technical Education (CTE) students and educators on another outstanding year!

As the school year comes to a close, we celebrate the hard work, dedication, and success of students who earned more than 11,000 industry credentials, helping Onslow County rank 6th in North Carolina.

A special congratulations goes out to Mr. Kenny Kellum and his Construction Trades students, who represented North Carolina on the national stage and earned 3rd place in the nation at the SkillsUSA TeamWorks Championships after capturing the state title earlier this year. πŸ†πŸ”¨

These accomplishments are a testament to the talent of our students, the commitment of our educators, and the strength of CTE programs in preparing students for future careers and success.

Way to go, Onslow County! πŸŽ“πŸ’™πŸ’›
