There comes a time in life when you are alone and need some assistance in just "getting by".
Maybe it's age, maybe it's an illness or, a temporary injury.
My name is Lori Cannon and I MAY be able to help in the Swansboro Hubert area. I can also serve Cape Carteret, Cedar Point and Emerald Isle.
I am a former professional cab driver and - while I am not licensed as a certified "caregiver" - I have experience in helping people with medical needs.
As a "Christian", it's something I enjoy.
At 57, I may need help myself some day
I would like to create a small group of "clients" to offer my services to - at a small negotiable fee, of course.
I can't afford to work for free. (Although, I wish I could.)
Here are a few things I can do for you.
- Transport and reminders of medical appointments.
- Regular "check-up" phone calls and/or visits to your home..
NOBODY should be "alone".
Especially. after an outpatient medical "procedure" or hospitalization.
I'll make sure you take your medication and you are OK.
- Small "errands", shopping and delivery service.
- "Light" housekeeping and meals.
I realize that sometimes you just don't "feel" like doing much or just need a companion to do it "for" or "with" you.
- Bill pay and "reminders".
I am organized, honest and trustworthy.
- "Day trips" and "shopping trips" that fit in my schedule.
Unlike Uber or a Taxi Company, I won't just drop you off and leave you stranded. I will be with you.
YOU make the decisions and decide what help YOU need.

We'll talk about the "fee" for my services.
I try to keep my "overhead" low and my prices reasonable.
If I can't help, I'll try to find somebody who can.
I have friends who are reliable handymen, yard men and "caregivers".
They'll give you at a fair and honest price.
