Good afternoon everyone. We wanted to remind everyone to mark your calendar for September 26, 2026 for our baked potato and chili dinner from 4-7. 🚨FOR SALE🚨

Huddleston Vol. Fire Department is currently accepting sealed bids for purchase of our old brush truck following replacement with a newer model. It is a 1996 Ram 2500, 5.2 automatic with 114,009 miles. The truck runs and drives well and was in service as a frontline brush truck until recent replacement due to age. Please note that while the radio systems and loose equipment will be removed prior to sale, the other mounted emergency systems and pump skid will remain. Vehicle will be sold as is. Once purchased, the buyer will sign a form releasing the department of any liability from the vehicle’s use once it has left our possession.

Bids will be accepted through August 31, 2026 to be opened on September 1st. They can be mailed to 5377 Smith Mountain Lake Pkwy, Huddleston VA 24104 via sealed envelope. Should your bid be accepted, you will be notified the following week.

Here is the NEW BRUSH 7A . This is where your donations go. This unit is a twin to brush 7 . The department bought the chassis from Country Chevrolet and CW Willams put the skid unit in and outfitted it with lights etc. Thank you for your continued support of your fire department. This unit will be housed at Station 3 on Dundee Road 🚒🚒🚒🚒

Ok everyone the fair is open. Follow the signs turn in at the hardware store at the Fire Engine and your volunteers will direct you from there . We have our fire boot out for your donation. If you can’t make it today there is 3 more days you can come
