Today, as we do everyday, we remember a fallen brother, who paid the ultimate sacrifice on this somber day 32 years ago while battling the Parkview hotel fire in the Village of Hudson Falls. Paul, we salute you, and thank you for your dedication and commitment to your community and surrounding. The years pass by like a blink of an eye, but to so many, this night feels like it was just yesterday. Countless stories have been told over the years about Paul, the type of person he was and the firefighter he was. Today we say a prayer asking to bless his family and friends as well as his brother and sister firefighters who are left to carry on his legacy. Godspeed brother ⚫️🔴⚫️

Tonight we trained with our F.A.S.T. team, Bay Ridge, and went over their equipment they bring to a structure fire, different techniques and tools they use in the event of having to go in and do a firefighter rescue. Some evolutions involved members from both departments being “rescued” on their FAST Board and discussing how it is used in various situations. Great night of learning and seeing what the capabilities are with the tools they have. Thank you Bay Ridge Fire for giving us the opportunity to see and learn about what goes in to the FAST operations on the fire ground.
