Burn Ban Temporarily Suspended Through the Weekend

Due to the rainfall we are currently receiving and the reduced wildfire risk, the burn ban in Parker County is temporarily suspended beginning today, March 7, 2026, and will remain suspended through the weekend.

The Commissioners Court will reassess the status of the burn ban on Monday morning.

Update....

Effective Immediately, Commissioner's Court enacted a Burn Ban Order for all of Parker County on February 23, 2026. This ban will be reviewed by Commissioners' Court in 14 days.

During the Burn Ban, outdoor cooking and outdoor welding, cutting and grinding will be allowed unless NOAA/National Weather Service issues a Red Flag Warning Day. During Red Flag Warning Days, these activities will not be allowed.

The order in its entirely will be made available at www.parkercountytx.gov.
