Guam won’t give up more land to the U.S. military without a fight - Prism

US military buildup on Guam threatens Chamorro lifeways and the Northern Guam Lens Aquifer, the island's sole source of drinking water. Climate change threatens the entire island, while "a third of the island is under occupation by one of the largest polluters on the planet." Silenced by the US, activists are looking to engage "critical legal interventions at the international level" to show "might does not make right, and that the world is watching.” https://prismreports.org/2021/06/04/guam-wont-give-up-more-land-to-the-u-s-military-without-a-fight/

Guam’s struggle against the U.S. military buildup on the island is a referendum on the future of climate justice, Indigenous sovereignty, and the U.S.' global role as a military superpower.

Walmart, McDonald's, and Amazon are among companies celebrating Pride after donating hundreds of thousands of dollars to politicians who voted against the Equality Act

When people donate to a candidate it's almost always because they like that candidate's positions on the issues. But corporations aren't people--they write checks to candidates from both major parties to buy attention and ensure that those candidates, when elected, do what they want. Big campaign donations are political bribes and a system that runs on big campaign donations will be corrupt *and* hypocritical. We need to pass HJR48, the We the People Amendment to empower real campaign finance reform. https://www.businessinsider.com/amazon-walmart-mcdonalds-companies-show-pride-donated-anti-lgbtq-politicians-2021-6

It is increasingly difficult for companies to say they support a cause while donating to politicians who vote for laws indicating the opposite.

Following US Capitol attack, we senators must investigate fellow members of Congress — and follow the money - The Boston Globe

"We need to understand what took place that day. We need to understand who was behind the tide of disinformation that led to the insurrection, and we need to understand who orchestrated the deadly actions that took place." And then we need action in the courts but also in Congress--a constitutional amendment to overturn anti-democratic SCOTUS decisions like Citizens United, that gave power and cover to power-hungry--and traitorous-- donors.

We need to understand what took place that day. We need to understand who was behind the tide of disinformation that led to the insurrection, and we need to understand who orchestrated the deadly actions that took place.

Global Trade Watch

With everything else going on, we don't want people to miss this report. In two weeks, a new administration will mean new opportunities to work for trade deals that protect labor, health, and environmental regulations in all signatory countries, end incentives to offshore, and keep and create good jobs to sustain workers, families, and local economies.

NEW REPORT: Latino and Black workers have been disproportionately hurt by corporate-rigged trade deals. 9 of the 10 industries hit hardest by failed U.S. trade policies employed a disproportionate number of Black and Latino workers.

Thank you very much to those who have shown their interest in working for the "Earth Federation Movement". This is an international movement organization for peace and democracy under the leadership of Professor Glen Martin of Radford University, USA. As I said that Professor Glen Martin of Radford University USA move world-wide with the salary he gets from the university to establish peace all over the world. Our aim is to establish peace across the globe. Anybody who does not have any vested interest and wants to work for a peaceful world without injustice can stay with us. This is not an NGO. We are not against or for any government; rather, we want to change the system so that people of the world can talk and establish their rights. We cannot accept the world to be controlled by the arms merchants and enemy of the environment. Every government should follow the earth constitution so that no government can do injustice to its people and people of other countries, )through the support of the people of the world for that your suggestions for national and international networking for the unity of the peace-loving people will be highly appreciated. For this we need to ratify the earth constitution (chrome-extension://gphandlahdpffmccakmbngmbjnjiiahp/https://www.radford.edu/gmartin/Hist.Intro.pdf📷 It deserves mention that The Earth Federation Movement is an international organization and nobody will be allowed to use ours for the organization for any particular party. No economic benefit will be given from this organization, and only those who want to work for a peaceful world without injustice can stay with us. We must protect our women from rapists and poor people from the looters of the world, and it is possible only if we do not give up and continue our effort until success. For discussion at this moment, we have created a Facebook group named earthfederation (https://www.facebook.com/groups/430769487934929), and we hope thorough discussion, we can find out a way for world peace. Please feel free to communicate whenever you like. Best regards
