It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of former Mayor Mike Anderson. Mike was a truly great guy who always dedicated to helping and serving the town and always put Hudson first during his time in office. He is now peacefully reunited with his sweet wife, Saundra, and his brother, Pat. Please keep his son, Matt, and his many friends and family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. We will miss you, Mike. Thank you for your leadership and your heart.

EMERGENCY NOTICE OF OUTDOOR WATERING RESTRICTIONS EFFECTIVE August 11, 2026

The Town of Hudson’s municipal aquifer has lost 30% of its water level due to drought conditions and the town must protect the municipal water supply. Watering restrictions were set by town council on August 11, 2026, as follows:

Lawn and Garden Watering is restricted to an alternating schedule based on house numbers.

· Even-Numbered Addresses: to water outdoors only on even-numbered calendar days.

· Odd-Numbered Addresses: to water outdoors only on odd-numbered calendar days.

· 31st Day of the Month: no outdoor watering for all addresses on the 31st day of any month.

Midday Watering is banned between the hours of 12:00 PM and 5:00 PM.

Household Indoor Consumption is Exempt from Restriction.

Private Well Owners must post a Private Well sign on their property.

Outdoor open hose watering is prohibited.

These emergency restrictions shall take effect immediately and will remain in force through October 1, 2026, or until further notice.

Thank you for your cooperation in helping preserve Hudson's water supply during this drought emergency.

Due to an overwhelming amount of clothing, Hudson's Closet will not be accepting any new donations until further notice. Hudson's Closet is open during Town Hall business hours. M-Th 9:00-4:00.

UTILITY BILLING FOR HUDSON- The utility bills for the Town of Hudson will go out in tomorrow's mail (June 30) due to the Utility Rate Increase and changes effective July 1. This date change gives each customer the additional 10 days of usage at the current rate. July's meter reading will take place on the 20th and usage will only be billed for 20 days of use at the new rates. August meter readings and beyond will be for a full month at the new rates.
