Recycling Center-
The Town of Troy Recycling Center will be open December 24 from 1-4 and December 31 from 1-6:30.
Effective January 1, 2021, the hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays will be 1-5:30 through the winter.
The Town of Troy is nestled between Hudson and River Falls and borders the beautiful St. Croix National Scenic River Way. We’re sure you will be pleased with the amenities the area has to offer.

We have 4341 registered voters
3877 ballots cast
2604 absentee votes
1193 people took advantage of the early voting opportunities
Only 48 of the absentee ballots sent out were not returned.
Polls are open tomorrow from 7am to 8 pm. Be prepared for lines, please be patient, be courteous, and be prepared for a wait.
If you are NOT registered in the town yet or your address has changed, please come to the window FIRST and get things updated.
Last day to early vote- 10am-noon.
Polls open on Tuesday at 7 am.

Absentee Ballot Drop Off Locations: Absentee ballots can be mailed back to the town hall (postage is included on the envelope), can be dropped in the mailbox at the end of the driveway (large black locked box with pink signs), or dropped off during business hours (Monday - Thurday 9am - 12:30pm). Or...
Absentee ballots can be dropped off in the locked mailbox at the end of the driveway at anytime or in the office during business hours.
If you have not requested an absentee ballot and want to avoid the possible lines on the day of the election, please consider Absentee In Person Voting. Hours for Absentee In Person voting are posted on the page and on the town’s website.

Did you know you can skip the lines and vote absentee in person prior to the election? Don’t worry about the mail, simply stop by the office, show a valid ID, and fill out your ballot. Absentee in person voting will begin October 20. Stay tuned for extended hours to be posted. Updates will also be posted on the website.

Last chance to absentee in person vote today from 3-5 at the town hall.
Town of Troy office will be closed on Monday, August 10th to prepare and clean prior to the election. Polls will be open August 11th from 7am-8pm.
Election workers needed-
Town of Troy is looking to increase our pool of Election Inspectors (aka poll workers). Citizens that are interested in serving as an election official must be an adult US Citizen who is an eligible voter in St. Croix County(for at least 10 days) plus:
* Attend Training * Have never been convicted of a felony * Speak, read, write, & understand English
*Abide by State and Federal election laws *Not be a candidate for any office on the ballot for that election
If interested, please contact [email protected] with name and contact information and a form will be emailed to you or call 715-425-2665 to have form mailed. You will have an option to select dates you are available to work and there are full day and half day shifts.

The Recycle Center will be CLOSED Saturday, July 4.
At a Special Town Board Meeting held June 18, 2020 at 3:30 via Zoom it was decided to fully open Pembles Access with regular hours of operations effective immediately. However, there is limited parking spaces available in the lot and once full, illegally parked vehicles will be ticketed.
Pembles Access is currently open to foot and non-motorized bike traffic during normal hours. Please plan accordingly for drop offs. Parking is 1/2-1 mile away.
Free Fishing Weekend - Wisconsin DNR
Provides information and links regarding free fishing weekend in Wisconsin.
At the Town Board Meeting May 21, the decision was made to close the bathrooms at Glover Park. Please plan accordingly. The playground continues to be closed as well due to COVID-19.
Pemble Access will remain closed. Further discussion will be had on if or when it can be opened at the June 11th Town Board meeting.

Stop in and Absentee In Person vote this week. Hours are 7-12:30 Tuesday and Wednesday, 9-12:30 AND 2-5 Thursday, and Friday 4-7. Walk ins welcome, save time and set up an appointment. Appointment link can be found on the website under Election Information.
