Nottingham West Elementary School held their second annual parade for veterans this afternoon. In a collaboration with the DAV (Disabled American Veterans organization), there was a Field of Flags in front of the building displaying more than 48 American Flags. Mrs. Nadeau spearheaded the DAV Field of Flags project, which resulted in over $360 raised for disabled veterans. Paws Pals teachers Mrs. Nadeau and Mr. Crivac set up the flags along the main entrance this morning. Several veterans from the community came to walk the halls amid students who held American flags, patriotic banners, and cards of gratitude. Thank you, veterans!
