Great turn out for last nights Community Facilities Planning Meeting at Hudson Middle School. Enough pressure was put on the board for a public comment/question answer session! I felt the community had a little opportunity to be validated in their concerns for the communities in which they live. I really hope that the board continues to listen to the community members who elected them. I did not hear one community member want to close 2 community loved schools. and

Here is the information sent out to families in the district. Pay close attention to your school district happenings. Please attend the November 1st meeting at the Hudson Middle School at 6:30 PM in the multi purpose room. The board will be making a decision soon on what will be on the ballot this SPRING make your voice heard!

It is really important if you are tax payer in the Hudson School District to be at this public meeting, if you care about schools and community schools you should be at this meeting! Two signup genius' for one GREAT CAUSE. Our Houlton Bazaar is coming up at Houlton Elementary on April 9th, this SATURDAY from 10-2! I surely hope all of you parents and community members would come and celebrate our first Bazaar since covid struck. We are in dire need of volunteers and some food items. If you, or anyone you know, could help with these items our parent group would be so appreciative. We run this once a year fundraiser to provide field trips, Junior Achievement, events, activities, teacher needed items (not provided by the district), and learning opportunities for the children at Houlton Elementary. This bazaar is an all hands on deck event, it is ran by parents, volunteers and amazing community support. WE NEED YOU this year for an hour or two if you are willing, and some food items, it sure would take the burden off our parent group budget. Please help if you can and please come and enjoy our family friendly event.
