We feel you - hang in there! Our teachers/staff are feeling it too (maybe even worse than the rest of us!). In the spirit of continuing to strive to close out our final year at Willow River with the ultimate bang, we hope you’ll join us for a rocking party featuring a concert by THE DWEEBS, food trucks galore, and pure FUN!

Food trucks will have food available for families to purchase but the Parent Group is footing the food bill for any teachers/staff. As we wind down our funding account, we are asking if families would be willing to contribute to our Venmo to help us pay for food for our teachers and staff. Hello Willow Families! Mr. Tulkki, our Willow music teacher, is collecting recordings of Willow community members (present/former students, staff, parents, and friends) singing our school song. He will combine those recordings into a mass audio choir, which will be shared at our community celebration on May 31. Instructions for making a recording are below. Happy Teacher Appreciation Week! We’ve got lots of goodies in store to spoil our teachers and staff this week and we’re kicking things off with our friends at Joe To Go who will be at the playground from 7:45-9:30 this morning with their mobile coffee cart slinging drinks for all to enjoy! Teachers/staff get their drinks on us but parents and families are encouraged to stop by to purchase your favorite morning drink for yourselves, too!

We are still on for our very last fundraiser at Culver’s tonight for those who are up for venturing out in the rain/storms for dinner or a treat! Funds raised tonight will help toward the cost of the all school field trip to Camp St Croix next month (but, shhhhh 🤫 it’s a surprise! The kids don’t know about it yet!) Of course, we urge everyone to be safe and stay home if you deem it necessary, tonight!
