Hudson serves students in grades Pre-K Special Education - Grade 12. The Hudson School District is located along the scenic St. Croix River Valley, just fifteen minutes from the Twin Cities. The School District covers approximately 77 square miles, including all or part of the City of Hudson, Village of North Hudson, and the Townships of Hudson, St. Joseph, and Troy. the Hudson School District's official social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube) are administered and moderated by the Hudson School District Community Relations Department. The administrators of any and all Hudson School District accounts reserve the right to hide or remove comments, replies or other content and interactions that they deem to be in violation of the District's Social Media Community Standards or in violation of the social media platform's community standards. The administrators may also take action to report, block or ban users for repeated violations of these standards. The Hudson School District does not discriminate based on viewpoint but may remove comments and restrict access to users for violating acceptable use guidelines. External links on our social media sites do not constitute official endorsement on behalf of the Hudson School District. You take personal responsibility for your comments, user name, and any other information provided. Comments may be removed if they contain, constitute, or link to:
- Malicious or harmful software;
- Advertisements, promotions, or solicitations of a commercial product or service;
- The disclosure of confidential information or the invasion of any individual's privacy;
- Profanity, nudity, indecency, obscenity or graphic violence;
- Hate speech or speech that is obscene, harassing, baiting, intimidating, threatening or inciting violence.
- Sexual harassment;
- Harassment on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability or age;
- Threats of violence or public safety;
- The promotion of terrorist groups and activity;
- Defamatory content;
- Copyrighted materials in violation of State or federal law or in violation of any School District policy;
- The publication of content subject to legal prohibitions that restrict or limit publication;
- Disruptively repetitive content;
- Communications and comments that are wholly unrelated to the subject matter of the posts appearing on the platform;
- Political campaigning. Users may be temporarily or permanently restricted from accessing the social-media platform if they repeatedly and consistently violate these acceptable use rules. If a user has five comments removed for a violation of standards in a 30-day period of time, the user will be banned from the page for a period of 30 days. Our social media accounts are not monitored 24/7. If you're a student in crisis, or have an emergency, please call 911. We update and monitor social media accounts intermittently. All comments related to School District business will be considered public records subject to disclosure upon request.
