The final weeks to register to become a Certified Colorado Gardener are here. Weld County Extension is offering online trainings starting in late October 2023 through March 2024. Fourteen non-credit courses teach individuals about tree care, landscape basics, entomology, growing vegetables and fruits, botany, w**d and pest management and more. Take five short courses or soak it all in with full course offerings. At the end of the training, individuals earn a Colorado Gardener Certificate. However, because there is no subsequent volunteer commitment, participants do not become Colorado Master Gardeners.
