A championship that gives back. 🏆💙🏒

Today, the Healing Heroes Foundation proudly presented a $1,000 check to the Greater Lowell Youth Skating Association on behalf of Lowell PD Hockey, our 2026 BFit Heroes Cup powered by Wellpoint Division D1 Champions!

Thanks to First Responders Credit Union, our Official Playoff & Awards Partner, each of our 11 Division Champions receives the opportunity to direct a $1,000 charitable donation to a cause that matters to their team and community.

Lowell PD Hockey chose to give back to the next generation of hockey players right in their own community, continuing the impact of the Heroes Cup far beyond the rink.

Congratulations to Lowell PD Hockey on their 2026 Division Championship, and thank you to First Responders Credit Union for making these meaningful contributions possible!

Yesterday's forecast: 100% chance of golf, and 150% chance of rain. ⛳🌧️ Waterlogged shoes and soggy scorecards aside, members of the Healing Heroes Foundation's community were proud to take part in the Worcester Firefighters Hockey golf tournament at Heritage Country Club.

Funds from the tournament went to support the Worcester Firefighters 6K, helping firefighters support their fellow firefighters and families. Additionally, funds were raised to support Shrewsbury Firefighter Mike Penny and his family. FF Penny was recently diagnosed with a serious illness that resulted in the loss of one of his legs, and donations made yesterday will help support him, his wife, and their three young kids.

It's an honor to be part of an event that gives back not only to department members, but to surrounding communities when one of our own is in need. Thank you for having us — we had a great time (rain and all) and look forward to next year.

Tonight, the Healing Heroes Foundation proudly presented a check to the Kids in Disability Sports, Inc. (K.I.D.S.) on behalf of the Chelmsford Firefighters Hockey Club.

Thanks to the relentless dedication of the Chelmsford Firefighters Hockey Club, they raised $14,587 this year for K.I.D.S.; bringing their grand total to an astonishing $105,636 raised since the 2nd Annual BFit Heroes Cup!

These funds directly support K.I.D.S. in providing inclusive sports, social, and recreational programs for children and adults with disabilities, building confidence, friendship, and equal access to play right across our community.

That is what this is all about. Thank you to everyone who laced up, showed up, and made this possible.

We hope to see everyone, and even more, back on the ice and in the stands next June!

This is what the Heroes Cup is all about. 💙

Each year, teams participating in the BFit Heroes Cup have the opportunity to fundraise for causes that are meaningful to them and the communities they represent.

This year, 15 teams went above and beyond—generating $127,825.76 in charitable impact.

Behind that number are causes chosen by our teams and communities that rallied behind their fundraising efforts. Together, those efforts will make a meaningful difference well beyond tournament weekend.

🐴💙 Today marks a huge milestone for Healing Heroes Foundation — our very first Equine-Assisted Recovery Program cohort officially began!

This 8-week program was built with purpose and led with experience, giving our first responders, military members, veterans, and their families a new path to connection through structured, ground-based work with horses. No horse experience needed, no pressure to revisit hard memories — just a space to build trust, regulation, and healthy connection at their own pace.

Huge thanks to our partners — Cornerstone Community Care and Superior Stables — for helping make this possible. This is just the beginning.
