We would like to congratulate FF/AEMT Patrick Chamberlain on his promotion to the rank of Master Firefighter/AEMT with the department.

The Master Firefighter rank is a recognition of a Firefighter's knowledge and experience. It is achieved upon the completion of five (5) total years of service in Hudson as a professional firefighter plus satisfactory completion of all educational and other requirements as defined in the Master Firefighter Concept.

We are excited to share that another of our probationary firefighters is now certified as an Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT)!

WATER ADVISORY IN EFFECT THROUGH OCTOBER 1, 2026

The Town of Hudson is taking a proactive approach to conserving water by implementing a drought contingency plan from now through the end of September.

With summer approaching, residents will be required to follow an odd/even outdoor watering schedule:

Residents with odd-numbered addresses may use outdoor water on odd-numbered days.

Residents with even-numbered addresses may use outdoor water on even-numbered days.

This advisory will remain in effect until October 1, 2026.

It is important that all residents follow these advisory restrictions. Failure to comply may result in a mandatory outdoor watering ban or a total outdoor water use ban.

Thank you for your cooperation as we work together to conserve water.

Congratulations to Firefighter/AEMT Mike Lewis who was this year's Firefighter of the Year, awarded by the Hudson Grange No. 11.

Mike was recognized last week at their Annual Community Recognition Awards ceremony that took place at the Grange Hall.

Congratulations Mike on this well-deserved award! 👏🏻

💦 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 - 𝐏𝐮𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐄𝐯𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 💦

Today, crews were out practicing pumping evolutions using Tanker 1. Tanker 1 is equipped with a porta tank. This is used in situations where there is no hydrant.

The porta tank can hold up to 2,500 gallons of water. The drills focused on setting up the porta tank, dumping water into the tank, drafting water from the tank, and supplying multiple hand lines. 🚒

What a morning it was, as we were excited to team up with Presentation of Mary Academy to provide and exciting opportunity for a lucky student.

This morning, Molly and her sister Ayla, joined us at Central Station for a station tour and some demonstrations with Group 4.

After taking in those activities, it was time hop in and enjoy their ride to school in Engine 2! 🚒

We hope you both had a blast and that your journey with us was a joy ride to remember! 🎉

We're thrilled to announce that the Hudson N.H. Fire Department is joining the CSI Technology Group InfoShare® family! 🎉 This exciting transition for our Communications Division will streamline our dispatch operations and enhance connectivity, and it wouldn't have been possible without the support from our community and your vote. By approving the town's operating budget for FY26, you've made this vital project a reality. Thank you for your continued support of the growth and safety of our department and community! 🚒🚑

Starting today, we begin training with InfoShare®, and we're eagerly anticipating our go-live deployment the following week. This modern computer aided dispatch system integrates the HFD with area dispatch centers that operate the CSI system and the NH 911 centers. This program also connects all of our apparatus and vehicles to the dispatch center which improves the service to our community and provides the department with more accurate data and call tracking.

We would like to thank and acknowledge the efforts put forth by Deputy Chief Paquette, Captain Mamone, and Dispatcher Frederick for their dedication and hard work which were instrumental in bringing this project to fruition. 👏🏻
