🇺🇸 Warrior Wednesday: Honoring GEN George S. Patton 🇺🇸

This , we honor General George S. Patton, one of the most renowned battlefield commanders in U.S. Army history.

Commissioned in 1909, GEN Patton first gained recognition leading the U.S. Tank Corps in World War I. In World War II, he became famous for his bold, aggressive leadership of the U.S. Third Army, spearheading rapid advances across Europe following the Normandy invasion. His relentless drive and innovative tactics were key to breaking German defenses and liberating occupied territory.

Known as “Old Blood and Guts,” Patton demanded the best from his soldiers and inspired them to achieve what many thought impossible. His legacy continues to be studied in military academies worldwide as a model of decisive leadership in combat.

GEN Patton’s career reminds us of the power of confidence, discipline, and determination in achieving victory.

Today is National POW/MIA Recognition Day 🎖️🇺🇸

On the third Friday of September, we pause to honor the brave men and women who were Prisoners of War, those still Missing in Action, and their families who carry the weight of uncertainty every day.

Their sacrifice reminds us of the true cost of freedom, and their courage is a legacy we will never forget.

The black-and-white POW/MIA flag is more than a symbol—it’s a promise:
✅ You are not forgotten.
✅ Your service is honored.
✅ Your nation remembers.

Take a moment today to reflect, remember, and recommit to upholding that promise.

🇺🇸 Warrior Wednesday: Honoring LTC Teddy Roosevelt Jr. 🇺🇸

This , we honor Lieutenant Colonel Theodore “Teddy” Roosevelt Jr., whose leadership and determination left a lasting mark on World War II.

The eldest son of President Theodore Roosevelt, he served in both World Wars. On D-Day, June 6, 1944, at age 56 and walking with a cane due to arthritis and lingering injuries, LTC Roosevelt insisted on landing with the first wave at Utah Beach. Under heavy fire, he calmly organized scattered troops, led them inland, and famously declared, “We’ll start the war from right here.”

His courage and leadership under fire earned him the Medal of Honor. He remains one of the oldest men to storm the beaches of Normandy and an enduring example of leading from the front.

LTC Roosevelt’s story reminds us that true leadership is shown in action, especially in the toughest moments.

Happy National Video Games Day! 🎮💥

Today we celebrate the late-night marathons, button-mashing battles, and teamwork forged in virtual fire. Funny thing is… it’s not so different from Army life.

✅ Respawn? In the Army, we call it resilience.
✅ Squads and fire teams? Basically your co-op crew.
✅ Strategy, communication, and precision? Same skills—different battlefield.

Whether you’re leveling up in a game or leveling up in real life, teamwork and mission focus always win. Ready to take your skills from the console to the combat zone?

🇺🇸 Warrior Wednesday: Honoring SFC Paul R. Smith 🇺🇸

This , we honor Sergeant First Class Paul R. Smith, whose heroism in Iraq reflects the highest traditions of the U.S. Army.

On April 4, 2003, near Baghdad International Airport, SFC Smith and his unit came under attack by a large enemy force. Realizing the danger to his soldiers, he manned a .50-caliber machine gun on an exposed vehicle and held off the assault, allowing wounded soldiers to be evacuated and his unit to regroup.

SFC Smith was mortally wounded in the fight, but his actions saved the lives of more than 100 U.S. troops. He was posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor, becoming the first recipient of the award in the Global War on Terrorism.

We honor SFC Smith’s courage, sacrifice, and devotion to his soldiers.

Happy National Cheese Pizza Day! 🍕🎖️

Simple. Classic. Always gets the job done—just like a Soldier on mission.

✅ Cheese pizza = the foundation. Add toppings later, but the basics never fail.
✅ Feeds the whole squad without breaking the chow hall budget.
✅ Best served hot, fast, and with teamwork (someone’s gotta carry the box).

So today, grab a slice, share with your battle buddies, and celebrate the little wins—because sometimes, success is as easy as cheese and crust.

🇺🇸 Warrior Wednesday: Honoring GEN Douglas MacArthur 🇺🇸

This , we honor General Douglas MacArthur, one of the most influential U.S. Army leaders of the 20th century.

Commissioned in 1903, GEN MacArthur served with distinction in World War I, earning multiple decorations for bravery. In World War II, he commanded Allied Forces in the Pacific, leading successful campaigns in New Guinea, the Philippines, and ultimately accepting Japan’s surrender in 1945.

MacArthur later commanded United Nations forces during the Korean War and left behind a legacy of bold leadership, strategic vision, and unwavering commitment to duty.

His career stands as a reminder of the impact Army leaders can have not only on the battlefield but on the course of history itself.
