Throwback Thursday during National Police Week đź’™

Today, we’re taking a look back at some moments, memories, and familiar faces throughout the history of the Hudson Police Department. From past uniforms and patrol cars to the officers who helped shape HPD over the years, these photos represent the tradition, service, and dedication that continue to carry on today.

We are proud to honor those who served before us and helped build the department and community we know today.

Continuing on with National Police Week, the Hudson Police Department remembers and honors Officer William “Wrigs” Wrigley, whose End of Watch was January 24, 2014. Though 12 years have passed, he remains deeply missed by his family, friends, and the entire department.

Officer Wrigley’s dedication, loyalty, and heart left a lasting impact on HPD and the community he served. He was also known for his goofy personality, quick sense of humor, and ability to make those around him smile — qualities that continue to be remembered fondly by so many. As we honor his memory, we wanted to share a few throwback photos from throughout his time with the department.

Officer Wrigley, your legacy lives on and you will never be forgotten. đź’™

During National Police Week, the Hudson Police Department remembers and honors Senior Sergeant Christopher Filli, whose End of Watch was January 12, 2024. This is a day many of us will never forget.

Sergeant Filli served our community for more than 22 years. His leadership, compassion, and unwavering dedication to duty left a lasting impact on our department and the city he proudly served.

As we honor his memory, we wanted to share a few throwback photos from throughout his years of service with HPD.

Though his absence continues to be deeply felt, his legacy remains a part of HPD each and every day.

We continue to keep his family, friends, and loved ones in our thoughts during this week of remembrance.

Rest in peace, Senior Sergeant Filli. You will never be forgotten. đź’™

During National Police Week, May 10–16, HPD honors the dedicated men and women in law enforcement who serve and protect our community each day.

We also remember the officers across our nation who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty, and keep their families, friends, and fellow officers in our thoughts.

Please join us this week in recognizing the dedication, courage, and commitment of law enforcement officers — past, present, and future. 💙
