2026 CARNIVAL STARTS TONIGHT! Here is what we have for you tonight!

🐾🐎PET PARADE! Forms at 6:00 at Hughesville High School and moves at 7:00! All are welcome to participate! Several awards to be given!

🎤🎸Strawbridge Band is on stage from 6:30-9:30! Stage sponsors for this evening are Journey Bank and Hughesville Funeral Home and Cremation!

🍔🍕Food Stands open tentatively at 5:30pm and we have all your favorites, including our famous fresh cut fries 😍

🎡🎟️Rides and games will open around 6:00! Rides provided by our friends at SunShine Shows, LLC!

Come on down and see us and help us kick off summer 2026! Please remember that anyone working any of the HVFD food stands are ALL VOLUNTEERS, many of which will be working their regular jobs during the day and then coming and working carnival all night. We try our best, but sometimes things aren’t perfect, especially on the first night of carnival so please be patient with us! We are blessed to live in a community that is so supportive of us and it means everything to us! Hope to see you this week! 😎❤️

We are just a few days away from the HVFD carnival! We need your help! Anybody out there that loves to bake? We are in need of baked good donations for the HVFD Auxillary cake wheel! Cakes, cookies, brownies, pies, any kind of baked goods help! Our cake wheel relies 100% on donations! Most of our auxillary and fire department members will be working their regular jobs during the day, and coming to work the carnival at night which doesn’t leave us much time to bake for the cake wheel! If you are interested in donating baked goods, you can drop them off at the fire station at any time! We appreciate all of your support and we can’t wait to see you all next week 😁
