2026 PFF Grantee Spotlight ✨

LIFT Community Action Agency (Hugo) will use its grant for its Building Strong Starts program, which will implement an innovative, cross sector early childhood initiative through its Family Resource Center (FRC) to strengthen early relational health, promote early literacy and numeracy, and build resilience among families with young children in rural southeastern Oklahoma. 📚

Grounded in neuroscience, evidence-based practice, and a two-generation approach, this project will enhance LIFT CAA’s ability to support low-income families with children from pre-birth to age five by embedding new, collaborative strategies into an established community hub. 🔍

Community Helping Community!
This morning, the LIFT Family Resource Center had the pleasure of participating in the Pushmataha County Coalition School Supply Drive. We were excited to provide snack bags to the children and be part of an event that supports local families as they prepare for a successful school year.
A very special shoutout goes to Kayson Curtis, from Rattan, for his kindness, helpfulness, and positive attitude while assisting us in passing out snack bags. Kayson went above and beyond to help everyone who came through the event, and we truly appreciate his willingness to lend a hand! 👏💚
We would also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Pushmataha County Coalition for organizing and making this wonderful event possible. It was great to see our community come together to support local children and families.
