🚧🛝 BIG CHANGES ARE COMING TO THE FARREL HINES PARK! 🛝🚧

Our park is getting a playground upgrade! 🎉 And while we’re excited to bring in the new equipment, we need to keep the park closed until installation is complete.

We know the kiddos are ready to PLAY, but a little patience now means lots of new adventures later! 🤸‍♀️🌳

Please help us keep everyone safe by staying out of the park while the work is underway. 👷‍♂️🚧

We’ll let you know as soon as the new playground is ready for its BIG DEBUT! 🎊

🚫🔥 Please DO NOT throw lithium-ion batteries in your household trash or dumpsters. 🔥🚫

While they may look harmless, damaged or crushed lithium-ion batteries can catch fire inside the garbage truck or at the landfill. That's a danger to our sanitation crew, equipment, and our community.

If it powers your phone, laptop, cordless tool, v**e, e-bike, or rechargeable gadget, the battery does not belong in the trash.

Think of it this way: if it can power a drill, it can also power a dumpster fire or a fire at the landfill. 😬

Please recycle or properly dispose of lithium-ion batteries at an approved collection site.

Help us keep our community safe and prevent unnecessary fires. Thanks for doing your part!
