We are proud to announce that our department has been awarded two grants from the office of the Governor for Fire and Life Safety Education.

The first SAFE Grant is to provide fire and life safety education in our schools, while the scope of Senior SAFE is for hazard prevention and mitigation for our town's elderly population.

Thank you to our members who completed the grant application and who have been recently nationally certified as Public Fire & Life Safety Educators.

We are looking forward to the delivery of these programs, so stay tuned for future announcements.

Today’s marks the end of a 28 year career for Firefighter Robert “Bob” Rozzi. Bob has been the staple of senior men for our department for some time, his knowledge and experience on and off the job will missed for years to come.

We wish him and hope you do as well, a long and prosperous retirement filled with family, friends, happiness and relaxation!

Congratulations brother. You deserve this.
