We were honored to pay tribute to
Jo Ann, LVN today.
Jo Ann was a friend and former colleague to many of us. Having graduated from nursing school in 1973 from Eastway General Hospital Nursing School, Jo Ann loved working on Medical/Surgical units, that was her calling. She showed genuine concern for patients’ well-being, often treating them like family. Jo Ann was a compassionate, dedicated, and skilled nurse whose attentive care and empathy made a lasting difference in every patient’s life. She was truly a role model and a source of comfort in times of need. Jo Ann was proud to have worked at Northeast Medical Center Hospital for over 20 years. Her contributions to the nursing profession will be remembered by those who were fortunate to have worked alongside her.

We were honored today to pay tribute to Georgia, RN. Having graduated in 1975, Georgia’s extensive nursing career spanned across many specialties and institutions. From MedSurg to Surgery to Endoscopy, Georgia liked the variety nursing provided. Everywhere she worked she left a lasting impression on her patients, their family members, and her colleagues. Georgia had quite the sense of humor and her laugh was contagious.

This one was near and dear to our hearts as Georgia was our friend and former colleague. We will cherish all of the sweet memories.

Thank you Georgia for your 50 years of nursing service.

Special thanks to Hacienda Palomas restaurant in Kingwood for welcoming us for our tribute.

We had the honor today to pay tribute to Rebecca, RN. A nurse of 48 years, Rebecca graduated from the University of Texas in 1975. Rebecca’s extensive nursing career spanned across many specialties and institutions. From Neonatal Intensive Care to Pediatrics to Home Health, Rebecca made a lasting impression on her patients and their family members. Whether it was her smile at just the right time or her kindness in tough situations, Rebecca was always there for those who needed her. When her career took her in the direction of Quality Coordinator and teaching, Rebecca still managed to focus on caring, compassion, and empathy for those she worked with. Rebecca’s dedication and contributions to the nursing profession is remembered by us today and for many years to come by those who knew her.
