A BIG thank you to Cheri and our friends at the East Montgomery County Chamber for helping us spread the word about Family Promise and the 16th Annual Chicks & Hogs BBQ Cook-Off! 🔥

Chicks & Hogs is a whole lot of BBQ, brews, friendly competition and shenanigans- but underneath all that smoke is a pretty important WHY: helping local families with children move from homelessness to home. 🏡

We’re grateful for community partners who help us tell that story, and we can’t wait to see everyone at Chicks & Hogs!

We are incredibly honored to announce that Meaux Cotton & The Feel has been invited to perform at this year's Chicks & Hogs BBQ & Brew Fest, benefiting Family Promise of Lake Houston ❤️🎶

This is more than just a day of great music, amazing BBQ, and family fun—it's an opportunity to make a real difference.
Family Promise of Lake Houston helps families experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity get back on their feet by providing emergency shelter, housing assistance, case management, financial education, employment support, and other resources that help families achieve lasting independence. Their mission is to not only provide immediate help, but to empower families with the tools they need to build a stable future.
Every ticket, every meal, and every dollar raised at Chicks & Hogs helps support this incredible mission and gives local families hope for a brighter tomorrow.
