Farewell, SFC Gibson!

Today, we said goodbye to a great recruiter. SFC Gibson prepares to PCS to Georgia, where he will take over as Station Commander. 🎉 Watching him grow as a leader has inspired his colleagues and while we’re sad to see him go, we’re proud of all of his accomplishments and know he will continue to excel.

From his unwavering dedication to his unmatched work ethic, SFC Gibson brought morale and unity to our station. He always led by example, making even the toughest days manageable for the team. His passion for the mission and his “go hard” mindset will leave a lasting impact on us all.

In these photos and videos, you’ll see some memorable moments, SFC Joseph presenting him with a going away gift from us all and SFC Gibson emotional farewell speech (even though he swore he wouldn’t cry!). It’s a bittersweet moment, but we know he’s off to do great things.

SFC Gibson, thank you for everything you’ve done. You’ve left some big shoes to fill. Keep being great, and remember, you’ll always have a family here. Wishing you all the best on this new chapter!

🎉 A heartfelt farewell to SFC Gibson as he moves on to his next chapter! Today, Humble High School presented him with a Certificate of Appreciation for his unwavering dedication and support. It’s moments like these that remind us how much of an impact we can make in our communities.

Special thanks to Principal Darius Cosby, Campus Secretary Nora Brown, JROTC Instructor Sergeant Major David Watkins, and the amazing students for showing love and gratitude. Watching SSG Hardemen express her appreciation for SFC Gibson’s mentorship and guidance was truly touching. 💬

Shoutout to SSG Williams and SFC Irving for showing up and representing the team with pride. 👏 And of course, a huge thank you to Humble High School for making this a day to remember! 🏫💙

Hey everyone,

Can we give a big welcome home to PV2 Daskalos (MOS 92F) and PV2 Bateman (MOS 92Y). They both completed BCT and AIT recently and are back home not only for the holidays but also to assist and .humbletx with talking to students at Atascocita HS, giving them an insight into what they learned and experienced during training. Both felt that the struggles they faced in training were hard but were also worth it and that it did change them as a person.

The Humble Recruiting Station had the incredible honor of performing the color guard for the Houston Texans vs. Tennessee Titans game during Salute to Service & First Responders Day! 🇺🇸

Big shoutout to SFC Joseph, SSG Gonzalez, SSG Simbron, and SSG Maddox for their flawless ex*****on of color guard duties, your precision and professionalism represented the Army in the best way possible! 🙌 Special thanks to 1SG Rodriguez and SSG Guzman for their support and dedication behind the scenes.

This event wasn’t just about football; it was about connecting with the community, celebrating our service members and first responders, and showcasing what it means to serve with pride. It was an unforgettable experience performing in front of hundreds of fans and we even learned General Rainey was in attendance! 🫡

A huge congratulations to our very own SSG Gonzalez for earning his Gold Badge in recruiting, a true testament to his dedication and expertise. Not everyone can achieve this milestone, but Gonzalez sets the standard!

Also, a massive shoutout to SFC Joseph for being named NCO MVP of the Month! Starting out the year strong with 3 enlistments in the very first month, she’s already making a major impact.

This past weekend, SFC Irving and SFC Joseph represented the Army at the “Work Out with A Vet” event at Atascocita High School! 🏋️‍♂️🚁

The community showed up and showed out for a day filled with action, including a Black Hawk helicopter, a Coast Guard Response Boat, and, of course, your local friendly Army recruiters. We had an absolute blast engaging with everyone, sharing Army opportunities, and capturing some unforgettable moments on our 360 video device.
