What an incredible week we’ve had at The Terraces at Kingwood Town Center!
Around here, there is truly never a dull moment.
This week we came together for our Resident Town Hall, gathered as a team for our All-Staff Town Hall, had a little fun when Elvis made an appearance, and packed our bags for a wonderful adventure to Galveston!
But some of my favorite moments happen when the music quiets down and we simply sit together and talk.
Every Thursday during Meaningful Moments with Katrina, we choose a topic that makes us stop, think, remember, laugh, and sometimes even get a little emotional. We share pieces of our lives—the choices we’ve made, the roads we’ve traveled, the people we’ve loved, and the lessons we’ve learned along the way.
And every week, I’m reminded of something important:
There is always another chapter to write.
Growing older doesn’t mean the adventures are behind us.
There are still places to go, people to meet, friendships to build, stories to tell, conversations to have, and memories waiting to be made.
Sometimes the next chapter begins with something as simple as sitting beside a new friend.
A conversation over dinner.
A bus ride to Galveston.
A song that takes you back 50 years.
Or sharing a story you haven’t thought about in decades.
These are the moments that make a life meaningful.
At The Terraces, we want our residents to do more than simply live here. We want them to experience life here—surrounded by great friends, great conversations, laughter, adventure, and a community that reminds us that there is always something to look forward to.
Your story isn’t finished.
You might just be getting to the best chapter yet.
