EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT

Ethan Dempsey is a favorite server at the restaurant with the goatee. He lives in Houston and heard about the Terraces from a girl on the bus. “She recommended working there, so I checked it out, and the rest is history.” He is in school at Lone Star College getting his basics done and will transfer to the University of Arkansas in the Fall of 2026.

In the future, Ethan would like to help businesses grow into the best versions of themselves. This is the first time Ethan has worked in Senior Living. He hopes to learn and grow as he experiences a work environment and spends his time at the Terraces.

I asked Ethan if he had any advice for future servers; what would it be? One word = PATIENCE! Remain calm when taking or finishing orders. It is important to put the residents' needs first. You can see why Ethan remains a top server. He just gets it--when he serves our dining needs. He also stated that the Terraces provides scheduling flexibility and the opportunity to gain real-life work experience.

We have a great time with activities and games at The Terraces. Last Friday, we loaded up the bus and took that fun to the Kingwood Community Center. On this Memorial Day, we remember those who gave everything in service to our nation.

Within our Saga Senior Living communities, we are surrounded by individuals whose lives are deeply connected to that legacy. Among our residents are veterans, spouses, families, and friends who carry stories of bravery, sacrifice, and resilience.
