π 2026 Nebraska State Fire School β Registration Update
Pre-registration for the 2026 Nebraska State Fire School has closed β but donβt worry! You can still register on-site beginning Friday, May 15 at 7:00 AM.
If you need to change your class, adjustments can also be made on-site starting Friday, May 15 at 7:00 AM.

The following classes require a health safety check the day of Fire School prior to class starting:

Participants should arrive between 7:00β11:00 AM to complete the required health safety check. Classes begin at 1:00 PM on Friday, May 15.
β οΈ Important SCBA Requirement:
Individuals with beards, sideburns, or hairstyles that interfere with the proper seal of a breathing apparatus face piece will not be allowed to participate in classes requiring SCBA use. Protective hoods worn over beards are not approved.
π Class Certification:
Certain classes require mandatory hours of attendance. Students should make every effort to attend the full 12 hours of instruction. Unless otherwise indicated, students must attend at least 9 hours to receive a letter of certification, which will be mailed to the studentβs fire department. Attendance is recorded daily.
