Company 70 was dispatched for a reported vehicle accident, with a vehicle on its side. Chief 71, the Squad, Attack, and Fire Police responded. Chief 71 arrived to 2 vehicles involved, one pickup on its side, and all occupants out. Personnel secured the vehicles and established a driving lane. EMS evaluated the occupants. Crews operated for about 1.5hrs.

Company 70 was dispatched for a reported vehicle accident, with a vehicle into a ditch. Chief 71, the Squad, Attack, Utility, and Fire Police responded. Chief 71 arrived to find all occupants out of the vehicle, with an active gasoline leak. Personnel secured the vehicle and deployed a handline. EMS evaluated the occupants. Crews operated for about 1 hour.

A portion of central Pennsylvania, including the following areas, Columbia, Dauphin, Lancaster, Lebanon, Montour, Northern Clinton, Northern Lycoming, Northumberland, Schuylkill, Snyder, Southern Clinton, Southern Lycoming, Sullivan, Union and York.

WHEN
Until 8 PM EDT this evening.

IMPACTS
Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS
- Periods of heavy rain are expected this afternoon through the evening. Rainfall amounts up to 3 inches are possible.

A portion of central Pennsylvania, including the following areas, Adams, Bedford, Blair, Cambria, Clearfield, Columbia, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Fulton, Huntingdon, Juniata, Lancaster, Lebanon, Mifflin, Montour, Northern Centre, Northumberland, Perry, Schuylkill, Snyder, Somerset, Southern Centre, Southern Clinton, Southern Lycoming, Union and York.

WHEN
Until midnight EDT tonight.

IMPACTS
Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS
- Several more rounds of heavy showers and thunderstorms will track east across the Watch area late this afternoon and this evening. Rainfall rates of over one inch per hour will occur and flash flooding could occur where several thunderstorms train across the same locations.

The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection has issued a Code PURPLE Air Quality Alert for a portion of north central Pennsylvania including Warren, McKean, and Elk Counties for Thursday, July 16th.

The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection has issued a Code RED Air Quality Alert for the rest of central Pennsylvania for Thursday, July 16th.

The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection has issued a Code PURPLE Air Quality Alert for all of central Pennsylvania for Friday, July 17th.

Wildfire smoke from northern Minnesota and south central Canada will continue to result in unhealthy air quality through Friday.

Everyone should limit outdoor strenuous activity and exercise due to poor air quality. Sensitive groups should avoid all outdoor activity. Sensitive groups include children, the elderly, and people suffering from heart disease, asthma, or other lung diseases.
