Congratulations to Hunter member, Gary Goodrich for 50 years of service to the Hunter Fire Co. In those 50 years, he has been every ranking title and was President for 10+ years.
Gary was also President of the Greene Country Volunteer Firemen’s Association in 1994. He and his father, Leon, were the first father/son past-president duo in Greene County.
He was a former member of the C & O Team, as well as the Tech Rescue Team for the county. He currently still holds a county coordinator position in our area. He was also an active member of FASNY.
Also a big shout out to Freddy Fromer. He celebrated 50 years of service with the rescue squad, ambulance, and Tannersville Fire Dept. His family has a long history of service in the mountain top fire companies.
Thank you GCVFA and Haines Falls Fire & Auxiliary for hosting our families and honoring these two well deserving guys!!
