If you are a Long Creek Elementary alum graduating with the Class of 2026, we invite you to come back and walk the halls one more time during our Senior Walk celebration on Tuesday, June 2 at 1:00 PM! Seniors will help lead our kindergarten students into their Promotion Ceremony at 1:30 PM.

Families are invited to join us for our May SIT and PTO meeting on Thursday, May 14 from 3:30 to 4:30 in the media center.

During this meeting, the Huntersville Police Department will be joining us for a parent safety session focused on social media and technology. This session, titled Social Media and Technology: Digital Safety Starts at Home, is designed to support families as they navigate the online world with their children.

Between group chats, FaceTime, and online gaming, we know that the digital landscape can be challenging to manage. Our guest speakers from the Huntersville Police Department will share real world guidance and practical tools to help families keep students safe, savvy, and kind online.

Topics will include the hidden risks of group chats, FaceTime etiquette and safety, setting healthy boundaries for social media, tips from local law enforcement on digital footprints, and strategies for safe online gaming.

We hope you will join us for this informative session and our May SIT and PTO meeting. We look forward to seeing you there.

Last Friday, our Mighty Mustangs had a blast at Field Day! Students enjoyed inflatables, water activities, games, tug-of-war, and time together as a class while showing great teamwork. A huge thank you to Ms. Nimley and our amazing volunteers for making the day such a success!
