🚧 ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE – OLD LIMA ROAD 🚧

Please be advised that Old Lima Road is CLOSED to through traffic between Gump Road and Woods Road. Local traffic is permitted. Please be advised that there is a HARD CLOSURE at the Red Line depicted in the attached plan – local traffic will be directed north or south depending on their position. Woods Road will be accessible from State Road 3.

We appreciate your patience as we worked to provide a safe method of travel around the construction zone. We understand that with the ongoing construction work in Huntertown this summer, regular travel routes may be affected. Please make sure to give yourself extra time to travel safely, and stay aware of construction crews and closures. Thank you for your patience as we work to provide better services to our Huntertown residents!

🚧 ROAD CLOSURE ALERT - HATHAWAY/BETHEL ROAD 🚧

Please be advised that the Hathaway Road/Bethel Road intersection will be FULLY CLOSED Wednesday June 10 – Friday June 12. Please see below for proposed detour routes as prepared by the contractor.

On Monday June 15th, Hathaway Road between Hand Road and Bethel Road will be FULLY CLOSED to westbound traffic. Eastbound traffic will be allowed to pass. This closure will last approximately 3 weeks. Please see below for proposed detour routes as prepared by the contractor.

We understand that with the ongoing construction work in Huntertown this summer, regular travel routes may be affected. 🚧 Traffic Pattern Change - Old Lima Rd 🚧

Please be aware that temporary traffic lights have been installed at the intersection of Gump Rd & Old Lima Road, and just north of the Woods Road & Old Lima Road Intersection.

In order to ensure the project remains on schedule and to increase motorist safety, temporary traffic lights have been installed within the project limits. Large holes are present in the roadway to allow the water main to be ran, and they pose potential safety concerns for motorists and pedestrians in the area. Alternating traffic lights will provide all parties with the safest route possible through the construction zone.

As the project progresses, the area of affected traffic should reduce. For project updates, monitor the Huntertown official page, check the Huntertown website (https://www.huntertown.org/) or text "HUNTERTOWN" to 91896 to opt in to text message updates.

The traffic lights are alternating per the posted speed limit. Please obey traffic signals and drive carefully for motorist, pedestrian, and contractor safety.

IMPORTANT UPDATE REGARDING BULK PICKUP ITEMS: There are trucks currently working on recovering the missed pickup items that have been reported to the utility office. If there are any items left that have not been picked up, they MUST be reported to the utility office NO LATER THAN 3pm on Thursday this week, 6/11/26.

Any items that are left out and have not been reported to us by 3pm on Thursday, 6/2/26 will be the residents responsibility to have removed and disposed of.

ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE: Please be advised that Old Lima Road from Woods Road to Lima Plank Pkwy will be CLOSED to thru traffic anytime after 5pm on 6/3/26.
Construction crews are ahead of schedule and able to begin boring under Old Lima Road. Closure will last for boring activity and activation of the new water line. Opening date and updated traffic will be shared via facebook and town website. www.huntertown.org
