PSSA- the following detour will create a SIGNIFICANT delay in 9-1-1 response from HAA to the areas opposite of the closure. The delay could potentially be more than 35mins based on the 16 mile detour route. Please understand that this is beyond the control of first responders and plan accordingly for travel.

From Monday, June 15, to approximately Friday, June 26, 2026, contractors will implement a 16-mile detour of Route 994 (Old Plank Road) for a bridge project over the unnamed tributary of Great Trough Creek near the intersections of T-361 (Newburg Schoolhouse Road) and T-378 (Paradise Road).

The detour will use Route 3019 (Logging Road/Cooks Road), Route 913 (North Main Street/Railroad Avenue/Main Street/Barnett Road), and Route 3001 (Little Valley Road).

On Tuesday the 2nd, Medic 5 assisted IALS 703 with an ALS patient that required air medical transport. Geisinger Lifeflight 4 met with ground crews at PHH, while this crew handled patient care and stabilization HRFR handled another LZ detail for a transfer from PHH by LifeLion and Ambulance 507. Great team work by everyone involved.
