Local Friends ~
I am greatly reducing the inventory of books I have for the Little Free Library on Tara Lane.
I’m offering you all the opportunity to select as many books as you want for free, to help with the reduction of the collection. This includes board books, picture books, chapter books for kids-teens, as well as novels for adults. The collection encompasses genres such as romance, mystery, Christian fiction, action, sci fi, bios/memoirs, adventure, horror, historical fiction, contemporary fiction, & non fiction.

Here’s how it works.
*After the home page comes up, select Your Catalog.
*Then select either All Books, Authors, or Tags (subjects).

If you find a book(s) you want, just message me via FB messenger and I will get your selection(s) together, bag them up, and we can work out a time for you to come pick them up.

The ones with bent spines, worn corners, and coffee rings on the cover — because they’ve been passed from hand to hand, loved over and over again.

Here’s to every story that’s been read so many times it’s nearly falling apart… those are the ones worth keeping.

The Little Free Library on Tara Lane #127128 is happy to announce that the 5th annual Booook or Treat will once again be happening on Friday, October 31st - Halloween night!

We will once again be giving out candy along with each child selecting a book of their choice and even the adults can select a book for themselves!

Here’s what’s going to be available -

*Board Books for infants and toddlers.
*Picture book for Pre K through Kindergarten
*Chapter books for 1st grade through Young Adult.
*Children nonfiction will also be available.

For the adults there will be contemporary fiction, historical fiction, nonfiction, bios & memoirs, history, action, adventure, sci fi, fantasy, true crime, Christian fiction, romance, mystery, sports, DIY, self help, travel, classics, horror, & cookbooks.

So bring your kids, grandkids, great grandkids, nieces, nephews, and your neighbor’s kids!

Book or Treat happens each year because of the generous donations made to the Little Free Library on Tara Lane from the good citizens of Carroll County and beyond. We couldn’t bring a smile to your child’s face and encourage a love for reading without your help, so thank you all for making this happen!
