This year's theme, "Juneteenth Brings Balance to America's Celebration of Freedom," gives us a chance to reflect on how we make freedom a reality for all.

This begs us to look honestly at where barriers remain. New ALICE* data shows that Black households continue to face financial hardship at disproportionately high rates (58%, compared with 36% of White households), even while working hard to support themselves and their communities.

Data fuels action. Join us in telling the full story of financial hardship in your community. Together, we can expand opportunity and ensure freedom is fully realized for every family.

*ALICE stands for Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed, and represents households with income above the poverty level but less than the cost of basics.

Today, we celebrate ! A day that commemorates the end of slavery in the US and honors the history, resilience, and contributions of Black Americans.

As we reflect on this important day, we are reminded that building communities where everyone has the opportunity to thrive is work that continues every day. We remain committed to advancing opportunity, strengthening communities, and creating a brighter future for all.

It's More Than a Golf Tournament. It's Our Community in Action.

When you attend the Huntingdon County United Way Charity Masters Golf Tournament, you're not just supporting a day on the golf course.

You're supporting local programs that help families facing hardship.

You're helping provide essentials through the United We Care Closet.

You're investing in new initiatives like Neighbors in Motion, designed to address transportation barriers for seniors and working families.

You're helping connect people, organizations, businesses, and volunteers who believe that together we can accomplish more.

The Charity Masters is one of the few places where you can actually see community impact come to life. Local businesses, community leaders, volunteers, and neighbors all coming together with a shared purpose: making Huntingdon County stronger.

Whether you're golfing, sponsoring, volunteering, or simply stopping by to support the event, you're helping build a healthier, more connected, and more resilient community.

Come see what "United is the Way" looks like in action.
