STAY SAFE, STAY READY, THIS SPRING!
The Huntingdon County Emergency Management Agency wants you and your family to stay safe this spring by providing these simple tips:
Stay informed by checking weather regularly through a trusted sources such as local radio and TV stations, a weather app or the National Weather Service State College forecast office website at www.weather.gov/ctp.
When a storm is happening, go indoors and stay away from windows and doors.
If you are driving, pull over to a safe place and wait it out.
And remember- if a road is closed by emergency personnel or road crews due to flooding or other hazards, do not drive around the personnel or barricades. The road has been closed for safety reasons- your safety!
