Youth Service Month, Huntingdon Rotary recognizes 4-H and FFA, taking part in the program were, from the left, front row, 4-H members Hunter Wood, Kylee Clark, Hailey Zook, Blue Juniata FFA member Mattie Casner, 4-H member Madison Mower, Blue Juniata FFA adviser, Raylene Russell, Rotary Club president, Shannon Winstead; back row, Rotarian John Eastman, Captain Jack FFA member Zakheila Trice, 4-H members John Eaken and Luke Mowrer, and Standing Stone FFA member Carson Riley. Spring Tag Day - May 2 - 8-11 am

Exhibitors planning to participate with the following projects can access the Spring Tag Day Registration Form by downloading it from Facebook, fair website, 4-H Cloverlink, emails from advisor or leader, or obtain a printed copy from your leader/advisor/extension office.

The Spring Tag Day form is a fillable PDF and should be completed by entering information directly into the fields using Adobe (or another PDF reader), printing the form, and bringing it to tag day. Typed entries are preferred; however, neatly handwritten forms will be accepted.

Please note the following requirements:
*Submit one form per exhibitor
*Submit one species per form
*Ensure the entire scrapie tag number is recorded, including the state, farm number, and individual animal ID
*If your animal has a USDA 840 RFID tag, enter the number in the field labeled β€œ840 RFID Tag #”
*All forms must be fully completed prior to arrival at the fairgrounds.
*Clean your animals' ears and applied tags prior to arrival at the fairgrounds to ensure a smooth, healthy process.
*Male market animals must be castrated before arriving at the fairgrounds on Spring Tag Day.

It’s 4-H Paper Clover time! πŸ€πŸ€πŸ€

To participate, visit a Tractor Supply store between April 17 and May 3, get your paper clover, and donate at checkout. Proceeds will help send kids in PA to 4-H camp or other 4-H leadership programs!

It's time to apply for the Baker Scholarship!

This annual scholarship was established to honor a father, Professor Allen L. Baker, and his son, Richard H. Baker, for their years of dedicated service to Penn State.

Online applications are being accepted now. The entry deadline for the 2026 Baker 4-H Scholarship is May 15. Applicants must be full-time undergraduate students at The Pennsylvania State University and current or former 4-H members in Pennsylvania.
