ATTENTION out of county fire companies: For the 2026 Huntingdon County Firemen's Convention out of county apparatus will be judged with trophies being awarded for 1st and 2nd place in the following categories: Best Appearing Engine, Best Appearing Rescue, Best Appearing Ariel, Best Appearing Tanker, Best Appearing Brush, and Best Appearing Ambulance. Judging for the parade for apparatus is from 1pm to 4pm, you must be in line by 4pm in order to be judged! You can either message us through the page, or reach out to Mitch (contact information below) to reserve your spot(s), for more information or with any questions. We are also still taking other groups for the parade such as twirling groups, floats, bands, etc.

The Smithfield Volunteer Fire Company would like to officially introduce our 2026 royalty. Our Fire Queen this year is Zoey Norris and our Little Princess is Abigail Allen. We look forward to having them represent us throughout this year and to help us host the 2026 Huntingdon County Firemen's Convention in conjunction with our 100 year anniversary. We would also like to thank Natalie Cook and Rachel Lewis for doing a great job representing us over the past year. We have loved getting to see everything the two of you have accomplished!

Come and join us for the Touch a Truck event at BBQ Bonanza this Saturday, May 16th at the Huntingdon Fairgrounds from 11 am- 4 pm! Nat, our 2025 Fire Queen, Huntingdon County Fire Queen and Central Districts Queen will have a fun obstacle course for the kiddos! We hope to see you there! Below is a video showing what the obstacle course is like from last years Touch a Truck.

We’re loving seeing all of these Queen and Princess crowning photos! Make sure to complete and send in your Personal Information Sheet, Pageant Consent Form, and photo for both the Queen and Little Princess. Also, Queens and Chiefs don’t forget to sign up for the softball game! You must register in advance so that Nat can get team shirts ordered!

Our company has taken another huge loss this week.

We ask that you please keep the Mike Mccrum family in your prayers. Mike was a firefighter and lifetime friend to anyone who knew him! Mike passed early this morning.
