P.W. Stephens Environmental had a great time at the CACM Golf Tournament, connecting with property managers and bringing our “Asbestos Busters” theme to the tee! It was also a great opportunity to welcome our new marketing representative, Emily Ramos.

California Tightens Wildfire Cleanup Rules

Recent California Law: Wildfire & Asbestos/Lead Cleanup

AB 1642 and AB 1795, signed September 2026, establish California’s first statewide standards for testing and remediating lead and asbestos contamination from wildfire smoke. The laws also require qualifying insurance coverage for testing, remediation and restoration.
