Thank you for all the donations. Without your help, we would not be able to serve people like her.

Gracias por sus donaciones, sin su caridad no pudiéramos ayudar a personas como ella.

We will have a collection point in front of the temple every Sunday 9 am - 4 pm. You can contact the office at

LA-hop.org

If you live in Los Angeles County and want to
help in reducing homelessness but you are limited by time, money, or knowledge, there is a new way to contribute. LA-hop.org is a website where you can request help for someone that is homeless. You can fill out a form with as much information as you know of the person. A local organization will contact them and provide the services they need. Even a small contribution of just pointing to where help is needed can change a person's life.

On Thursday February 21, we were visited by Congresswoman Lucille Roybal-Allard the representative of California's 40th congressional district. She was able to experience first hand how the local community and your contributions have helped the people in need. On behalf of all the volunteers and donors we like to thank her for her time. We look forward to working together with her in reducing homelessness.

Dear Friends,

We are The Shower of Hope and we serve our unhoused neighbors 6 days a week in 7 different locations. Something we learned from our shower guests was that even though they wanted to come to one of our different locations from where they live to get a second shower on a different day, they simply didn´t have the ability to do so.

Today we are launching a new initiative called the Shuttle of Hope. The Shuttle of Hope will be a vehicle that will offer free transport to our shower guests from the area they live in, to one of our different locations. This will allow them to not only receive a second shower a week, maybe even three or four. To accomplish this we are fundraising to purchase an 8 to 12 passenger vehicle. We will pick up our shower guests from set locations and give them a ride back once they not only receive a shower but also a warm meal, hygiene items, clothing, and haircuts among other services.

At a time Los Angeles is facing a homeless crisis, we are asking you to open your hearts and help us give our unhoused neighbors dignity and a path out of homelessness.

Kind Regards,

The Team
