Official election mail will always include:
• The Official Election Mail logo (pictured), and/or
• The City’s official logo
If a mailing does not include one of these identifiers (even if it has a return envelope addressed to the Clerk’s Office), it is likely from a third-party organization, and not from the Clerk’s Office.
If you’ve recently received a voter registration application, it is not from our office. Receiving one of these applications does not mean your registration has changed or that there is any issue with your voter record.
Every election year, third-party organizations send voter registration and/or absentee ballot applications to residents across Michigan. However, the information they use is usually inaccurate, which means you may receive an application even if you are already registered to vote or already on the permanent ballot list.
You can always check your voter registration status by visiting Michigan.gov/vote

Summer is coming to a close, and school is back in session! A few reminders as we enter this busy time of year!
🍎School days bring congestion! It's never more important for drivers to slow down and pay attention than when kids are present – especially before and after school
🍎For those biking: Come to a complete stop before crossing the street and walk bikes across the street. Make sure you are always wearing a properly fitted helmet and bright clothing.
🍎For commuters everywhere: The area 10 feet around a school bus is the most dangerous for children; stop far enough back to allow them to safely enter and exit the bus
🍎 Remember: Head up, Phone Down. Be aware of your surroundings!

Some more back-to-school reminders!
