Proven leadership, not just saying the word "leadership" without proving it.

Political post Incoming.

Some people describe what leadership should look like. I'd rather just show you.

๐Ÿ’– Publish every contract over $10,000, quarterly, in plain language.

๐Ÿ’– Simplify meeting agendas so residents can actually understand what's being voted on.

๐Ÿ’– Work with Thrive 35 and HCUED to publish real housing targets and updates.

๐Ÿ’– Share services with the city and townships to save taxpayer dollars.

๐Ÿ’– Protect farmland with actual ordinances, not just talk.

I'm not describing it. I'm doing it.

Read my plan: www.eckertforhuntington.com

Vote for the LEADERSHIP thatโ€™s already showing up.

I'm honored to share that I've been accepted into the Hoosiers for Good Government program, a highly selective program that supports local and state candidates who are serious about tackling the big challenges facing Northeast Indiana.

Their focus areas include:
-Out-of-control healthcare costs
-Rising energy costs
-Housing shortages
-Population decline
-Poor educational outcomes
-Low voter participation

These aren't just talking points to me. They're the very issues I hear about while knocking on doors here in Huntington County. Rising costs make it hard for families to stay. A lack of affordable homes halts growth. Population decline is a real threat to our rural communities.

H4GG's mission is to support candidates who have the grit and determination to solve these problems and to educate voters on where we fall short. That's exactly the kind of work I'm committed to.

My first seminar is in October, and I can't wait to learn from this program, connect with other dedicated candidates, and bring even more tools back to this role. Because this isn't just about the campaign, it's about being prepared to do the job well from day one.

We've got a lot of work to do, and I'm ready to do it.

EXCITING DAY! The signs have arrived! ๐Ÿชง

I helped unload them this afternoon and I'm already picturing them all over Huntington County. My goal? To paint this county pink.

Pink represents compassion, strength, and a fresh perspective, exactly what I want to bring to the Commissioner's office. It's bold, it stands out, and it refuses to blend in. Just like this campaign.

If you'd like a sign, fill out the form below so I can guarantee you get one. High-traffic areas are great spots, but honestly? Anywhere with good visibility helps get the word out.

Let's turn Huntington County pink.

I've heard too many people say "I don't do politics."

Here's the thing: politics does you.

It's involved in your property taxes. Your roads. Your public safety. Your kids' schools. Your utility bills. Whether you can afford to live here or not.

So please, do your part.

When you show up today or tomorrow, you'll get to choose: pull a Democrat ticket or a Republican ticket. That decides who moves on to the General Election in November.

Then in November? Democrat vs. Republican vs. any Independents. And that's when YOU decide who is best for the JOB, regardless of the letter next to their name.

A few things to keep in mind:
๐Ÿ’ Local politics impacts your daily life more than anything in Washington ever will.
๐Ÿ’ Don't be won over by buzzwords.
๐Ÿ’ Ask the hard questions.
๐Ÿ’ Make sure the person you vote for actually understands the role they're running for.

This is your community. Own your voice in it.
