Cabell County 911 & Emergency Management Cabell County 911 has served the residents of Cabell County as their primary connection to emergency services since 1989.

Serving as the primary dispatch center for 13 agencies throughout the county and handling over 200,000 calls a year. The Cabell County 911 Center provides the communications link to emergency services to over 96,000 people in a county that covers an area of 285 square miles.

CASS Alert: Norwood Road in the area of Green Valley VFD is closed due to lines down across the road. There is no timeframe when it will be open.

CASS Alert: Emergency officials continue to monitor weather conditions. At this time we only expect to have street flooding and possible flooding in other low lying, flood prone areas. Remember never drive through flooded roadways.

Emergency Management officials have laid eyes on flood prone streams in our area and will be following up over the weekend as the forecasted rain continues. Additionally, the new stream gauge at Hite Saunders is being monitored by officials and in the event we start to see critical levels, we will report to the community accordingly. At this time, we are only getting reports of street flooding in a few parts of the county, including Arlington Blvd. Please do not attempt to drive through flood waters and continue to monitor news outlets and reliable social media for updates.

As EMS Week comes to a close this year, we want to acknowledge the hardworking and dedicated individuals that make up Cabell County EMS. These men and women work tirelessly to provide the best patient care to the residents and visitors of Cabell County. CASS Alert: Route 60 near Pepsi in Ona is closed in both directions due to an MVA. Responders are on scene and will have the road closed for a few hours. Please avoid the area, if possible.
