We recently received a call from a gentleman named Paul Bickel. While out for a run on our Tow Path Trail, he noticed that it was in need of some care and attention. Without hesitation, Paul offered his services through Property Management Paul to help make the trail usable again.

Wow—what a difference! The transformation is incredible, and we are so grateful for his generosity, hard work, and willingness to help.

The Historic Forks of the Wabash relies on volunteers and community members who are willing to share their time, talents, and skills. If you see a project, have an idea, or simply want to lend a hand, we would love to hear from you. There is always something that needs doing, and every act of service makes a difference.

Thank you, Paul, for seeing a need and stepping forward to help. We truly appreciate you!

Check out these photos of the amazing transformation!

Last week marked the end of an era at the Historic Forks of the Wabash as Chuck Hileman gave his final musket demonstration.

For countless students, Chuck was one of the highlights of their visit. His knowledge and ability to bring history to life made a lasting impression on thousands of children over the years. The excitement on their faces when they watched his demonstrations is something we will never forget.

While we are sad to see him step away from this role, we are incredibly grateful for the time, dedication, and passion he shared with our visitors. Chuck helped make history memorable, engaging, and fun for so many students.

Thank you, Chuck, for all you have done for the Forks and the many school children whose lives you touched. You will be greatly missed.
