Huntington Elementary School has experienced an AMAZING first week to the new school year! Among the excitement, we received our official A-F Accountability Rating, and we are super excited to celebrate the growth of our campus and students.

Huntington Elementary earned a “B” rating! This is a direct result of the hard work of our entire student body and HES staff. In two years, our campus achieved the following:

-Out of Improvement Required in 1 year (2024-2025)
-Improved from a “D” rating with a 66 to a “B” rating with a 81 (2025-2026)
-Added 2 academic distinctions: Postsecondary Readiness & Top 25% Comparative Closing the Gaps (2025-2026)

At HES, we know that one single thing does not measure the overall growth and accomplishments of our students and staff. The HES campus theme this year is “Get Gritty and Dream Big”. We plan to build a foundation of students with grit and the ability to see no dream is out of reach. It is a great day to be a Red Devil
